This means that the leak exposure procedure will not be costly since in many cases house owners will only have to break open one tile!

The system is very simple. A water leak detection cable (other cables for detecting diesel oil, gas fuel, acids, and alkalis are also available) is installed under the tiles during construction, or above the tiles and under the carpet, if tiles already exist. Also, leak detecting cables can be installed under elevated floorings, above false ceilings, and in basements around the boiler room and storage tanks. The cable detects the slightest water spills that come in contact with it and sounds an audible alarm. At the same time, the controller shows on its screen the exact distance of the cable at which the leak took or is taking place to the nearest 10 cm.

The leak detection system can also be connected to a monitoring software in remote control rooms, to monitor and record leak details using a specially designed software.
